Inclusive Innovators

Hi welcome to our blog! We are team ‘Inclusive Innovators’ that exists out of 7 team members, studying at Inholland, but we will introduce ourselves in a second. Firstly we are going to explain why we are part of Grensverleggers. As mentioned we are from Inholland, which is a university in Diemen- Zuid, our study introduced us to Grensverleggers. We got introduced to the concept and what our weekends would look like.

We started getting together as a team and diving deeper into what Gresnverleggers wanted from us and what to expect. This brings us to our team, the team consists of 3 second-year students and 4 first-year students. Below this blog, you can see some pictures and the names of all of us. When the first weekend started to take place we got started on creating our topic. The main focus was to make Inholland more safe as a campus, but how do we do that? That is when we started brainstorming and using several techniques we learned during our study at Inholland. After some brainstorming sessions, we got several ideas, we looked into how to make our study more inclusive in a way that we connect with other courses. Since our study is quite isolated. And how we could connect the whole school through possible trips and/or sports events.

The steps started on the first weekend when we had all the workshops where we got introduced to a lot of concepts that opened our minds. Then we sat down with our student coach and started brainstorming. Back at school, we made plans, mindmaps, miro board, and more. The main goal of our project is to connect. We want to connect people and give a respected school community where everyone feels free to be themselves and let others be themselves.
